Gooseberry Cream
Ingredients
- 1 quart gooseberries
- ½ lb moist sugar
- ½ pint water
- 1 pint milk or cream
Method
- 1 Remove tops and stalks from gooseberries.
- 2 Boil gooseberries with sugar and water until soft.
- 3 Rub the cooked mixture through a fine sieve.
- 4 Gradually mix in milk or cream.
- 5 Serve on a glass dish.
