Gooseberry Cream Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 lb gooseberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups heavy cream

Method

  1. 1 Wash gooseberries and place in a pot with sugar.
  2. 2 Simmer gently until gooseberries are soft and syrupy.
  3. 3 Allow mixture to cool completely.
  4. 4 Whip cream until stiff peaks form.
  5. 5 Fold cooled gooseberries into cream or serve on top.
