Gooseberry Cream Dessert
Ingredients
- 1 lb gooseberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups heavy cream
Method
- 1 Wash gooseberries and place in a pot with sugar.
- 2 Simmer gently until gooseberries are soft and syrupy.
- 3 Allow mixture to cool completely.
- 4 Whip cream until stiff peaks form.
- 5 Fold cooled gooseberries into cream or serve on top.
