Glazed Potato Rounds With Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
- 3-4 potatoes
- 2 oz butter
- Salt to taste
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 squeeze lemon juice
- ½ cup stock
Method
- 1 Peel and slice potatoes into rounds about 1 inch thick.
- 2 Melt 2 oz butter in a stewpan and cook potatoes gently until golden.
- 3 Season with salt, drain excess butter, and add stock to glaze.
- 4 Arrange potatoes on a dish, top with tomato sauce, extra butter, and lemon juice.
