Glazed Carrots With Lemon
Ingredients
- carrots, peeled and sliced
- salt
- 2 tbsp butter per 2 cups carrots
- 2 tbsp sugar per 2 cups carrots
- lemon juice
Method
- 1 Cook peeled and sliced carrots in boiling salted water until tender.
- 2 Drain carrots and place in a saucepan with butter and sugar (2 tbsp each per 2 cups of carrots).
- 3 Stir constantly until the carrots are covered in syrup and lightly colored.
- 4 Sprinkle with lemon juice and serve immediately.
