Glazed Baked Stuffed Apples
Ingredients
- Apples
- Syrup
- Preserved raspberries or apricots
- Pie paste
- White icing or egg white
- Sugar
Method
- 1 Scoop out the centers of the apples.
- 2 Dip the apples several times in syrup.
- 3 Fill the apples with preserved raspberries or apricots.
- 4 Wrap the apples in paste and bake until done.
- 5 Apply white icing or brush with egg white and sift sugar on top.
- 6 Glaze under a hot salamander or broiler until golden.
