Ginger Butter Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound cornstarch
- 1/4 pound butter
- 1/4 pound white sugar
- 1 or 2 eggs
- 1/2 ounce ground ginger
Method
- 1 Work all ingredients together on a marble slab until the paste has a consistent texture.
- 2 Form the dough into walnut-sized balls and flatten them slightly.
- 3 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until set. Store in an airtight container.
