German Egg Pancakes
Ingredients
- 5 eggs, separated
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup flour, sifted
- Sugar or jam for serving
Method
- 1 Beat egg yolks in a bowl until very light.
- 2 Gradually add milk and flour, mixing into a smooth batter.
- 3 Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
- 4 Drop large spoonfuls onto a hot greased griddle.
- 5 Serve hot, sprinkled with sugar or spread with jam.
