Fruit Gelatin Ice

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons gelatin
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 pint fruit juice (e.g., strawberries, cherries, currants, grape juice, or peaches)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 quart water

Method

  1. 1 Soak gelatin in cold water for 30 minutes, then melt in a hot-water bath.
