Fruit And Whipped Cream Ice Cream Mold
Ingredients
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream
- 2 cups fresh fruit (strawberries, raspberries, whortleberries, peaches, or bananas)
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
Method
- 1 Line a mold with a layer of vanilla ice cream, about 1 to 1.5 inches thick.
- 2 Fill the center with fresh fruit, optionally mixed with some whipped cream.
- 3 Cover the top with a layer of cream.
- 4 Pack the mold in a mixture of ice and salt for two hours to set.
- 5 Serve with additional whipped cream as a sauce.
