  • 15 g candied orange peel
  • 30 g sweet almonds, chopped
  • 30 g currants
  • 30 g raisins
  • 60 g granulated sugar
  • 240 ml milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 280 g all-purpose flour (1/2 lb)
  • 280 g all-purpose flour (1/2 lb)
  • 10 g baking powder

Method

  1. 1 Beat the butter until creamy. Stir in candied orange peel, chopped almonds, currants, raisins, and sugar.
  2. 2 Add milk, eggs, and half the flour to the mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  3. 3 Combine the remaining flour with baking powder and knead into the dough until smooth.
