Fruit And Cream Mousse
Ingredients
- 1 pint heavy cream
- 1 cup fruit pulp (juice drained)
- Powdered sugar (as needed)
- Vanilla extract (optional)
- Cochineal (optional, for color)
Method
- 1 Whip the heavy cream until very stiff.
- 2 Drain the fruit pulp to remove excess juice.
- 3 Mix the fruit pulp with powdered sugar until it matches the consistency of the whipped cream.
- 4 Gently fold the fruit mixture into the whipped cream. Add vanilla or cochineal if desired.
- 5 Pack the mousse in ice and salt for three hours to set.
