Frozen Strawberry Citrus Ice Cream
Ingredients
- ¾ lb ripe strawberries
- ¾ lb granulated sugar
- 1 pint water
- 1 lemon
- 1 orange
Method
- 1 Boil sugar and water in an uncovered kettle for 10 minutes to create a syrup.
- 2 Rub strawberries, lemon juice, and orange juice through a sieve.
- 3 Strain the syrup and mix it with the fruit puree.
- 4 Pour the mixture into a freezer and churn or freeze until set.
