Frozen Strawberry Citrus Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb ripe strawberries
  • ¾ lb granulated sugar
  • 1 pint water
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 orange

Method

  1. 1 Boil sugar and water in an uncovered kettle for 10 minutes to create a syrup.
  2. 2 Rub strawberries, lemon juice, and orange juice through a sieve.
  3. 3 Strain the syrup and mix it with the fruit puree.
  4. 4 Pour the mixture into a freezer and churn or freeze until set.
