  • fat (for frying)
  • molasses or sugar and water

Method

  1. 1 Clean, peel, and boil sweet potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and cut in half lengthwise.
  2. 2 Melt fat in a frying pan. Fry potato halves until slightly browned on both sides, about 10-15 minutes.
