Fried Sweet Potatoes With Molasses Glaze
Ingredients
- sweet potatoes
- fat (for frying)
- molasses or sugar and water
Method
- 1 Clean, peel, and boil sweet potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and cut in half lengthwise.
- 2 Melt fat in a frying pan. Fry potato halves until slightly browned on both sides, about 10-15 minutes.
- 3 Pour molasses or sugar-water mixture over potatoes. Cook until coated in syrup, then serve immediately.
