Fried Sausages With Pickle Gravy

  • flour
  • bread slices
  • mixed pickles
  • water
  • pepper
  • salt

Method

  1. 1 Prick sausages with a fork and soak in very hot water for 2-3 minutes.
  2. 2 Roll sausages in flour and fry until brown, being careful not to overcook.
  3. 3 Remove sausages and fry bread slices in the same pan.
  4. 4 Place fried bread on a dish, then top with sausages.
  5. 5 Add a spoonful of flour to the pan drippings, followed by chopped pickles, ¼ cup water, pepper, and salt.
  6. 6 Boil the gravy mixture and pour it over the sausages.
