Fried Sausage Patties
Ingredients
- Sausage meat
- Flour for dredging
- Breadcrumbs (optional)
- Beaten egg (optional, for binding)
Method
- 1 Prick sausage skins with a needle or fork to prevent bursting.
- 2 Cover sausages with boiling water and parboil for five minutes. Drain and wipe dry.
- 3 Form the sausage meat into small flat cakes.
- 4 Dredge cakes in flour or breadcrumbs. If they do not hold together, mix in a little beaten egg.
- 5 Fry the cakes in a pan until browned and cooked through.
