Fried Salmon Or Tuna Potato Patties
Ingredients
- 1 cup cold mashed potatoes
- 1 cup flour
- Salmon or tuna, canned or cooked
- Curried mincemeat (optional)
Method
- 1 Mix equal parts cold mashed potatoes and flour to form a stiff paste.
- 2 Roll the dough into circles about 4 inches in diameter.
- 3 Place a spoonful of salmon, tuna, or curried mincemeat in the center of each circle.
- 4 Season the filling generously, then press the edges of the dough to seal.
- 5 Fry the patties in oil until golden brown and heated through.
