Fried Raised Bread Dough Fritters
Ingredients
- raised bread dough
- oil or fat for frying
- powdered sugar
- ground cinnamon
Method
- 1 Form raised bread dough into pieces the size of an egg.
- 2 Heat oil or fat in a pan until smoking hot.
- 3 Drop dough pieces into the hot fat and fry until golden brown, similar to doughnuts.
- 4 Drain fritters on a napkin. Serve plain for breakfast or sprinkle with a mix of powdered sugar and ground cinnamon for luncheon.
