Fried Potatoes With Buttered Cabbage
Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 large potatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Water
Method
- 1 Boil the cabbage in salted water until tender, then chop it up.
- 2 Brown the sliced onion in butter in a skillet.
- 3 Add the chopped cabbage, salt, pepper, and a little water to the skillet; cook until heated through.
- 4 Slice potatoes thickly and fry them until golden and crisp.
- 5 Serve the cabbage in the center of the plate with the fried potatoes arranged around it.
