Fried Potatoes With Buttered Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 large potatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Water

Method

  1. 1 Boil the cabbage in salted water until tender, then chop it up.
  2. 2 Brown the sliced onion in butter in a skillet.
  3. 3 Add the chopped cabbage, salt, pepper, and a little water to the skillet; cook until heated through.
  4. 4 Slice potatoes thickly and fry them until golden and crisp.
  5. 5 Serve the cabbage in the center of the plate with the fried potatoes arranged around it.
