Fried Potato And Meat Pockets
Ingredients
- 1 cup cold meat, chopped fine
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup mashed potato
- 1 egg
- Flour for rolling
Method
- 1 Chop the cold meat finely and season with salt and pepper.
- 2 Mix mashed potato and egg to form a paste. Roll out on a floured surface and cut into rounds using a saucer.
- 3 Place a portion of the meat mixture on one half of each potato round. Fold over and pinch the edges into scallops.
- 4 Fry in oil until light brown and cooked through.
