Fried Oatmeal Patties With Syrup
Ingredients
- leftover oatmeal
- flour for dredging
- simple syrup (optional)
Method
- 1 Wet a pan or mold with cold water and pack leftover oatmeal into it.
- 2 Let the oatmeal set in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
- 3 Turn the oatmeal out of the pan and cut it into slices.
- 4 Dredge the slices in flour and fry until golden brown.
- 5 Serve with simple syrup if desired.
