Fried Mutton Cutlets With Chipped Potatoes
Ingredients
- slices of roast or boiled leg of mutton
- 1 egg, beaten
- breadcrumbs
- salt
- pepper
- all-purpose flour
- oil for frying
- chipped potatoes, for serving
Method
- 1 Prepare the mutton slices by dipping them in beaten egg.
- 2 Roll the egg-coated mutton in a mixture of breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and a little flour.
- 3 Fry the cutlets in oil until brown on each side.
- 4 Serve immediately with chipped potatoes.
