Fried Macaroni Cutlets
Ingredients
- 2 oz cold boiled macaroni
- 1 egg
- a pinch of herbs
- ½ small grated onion
- pepper and salt
- breadcrumbs
- butter or vegetable butter
Method
- 1 Beat the egg well and mix it with the macaroni cut into small pieces.
- 2 Add the herbs, grated onion, pepper, salt, and enough breadcrumbs to hold the mixture together.
- 3 Shape the mixture into cutlets, dip in egg and breadcrumbs, and fry in butter until nice and brown.
- 4 Serve with vegetables.
