Fried Macaroni Cutlets

Ingredients

  • 2 oz cold boiled macaroni
  • 1 egg
  • a pinch of herbs
  • ½ small grated onion
  • pepper and salt
  • breadcrumbs
  • butter or vegetable butter

Method

  1. 1 Beat the egg well and mix it with the macaroni cut into small pieces.
  2. 2 Add the herbs, grated onion, pepper, salt, and enough breadcrumbs to hold the mixture together.
  3. 3 Shape the mixture into cutlets, dip in egg and breadcrumbs, and fry in butter until nice and brown.
  4. 4 Serve with vegetables.
