Fried Macaroni And Cheese Puffs
Ingredients
- 1 oz well-boiled macaroni, cut small
- 1 large tablespoonful grated cheese
- 1 large tablespoonful cream
- Puff pastry
- Salt and pepper
- Egg wash
- Vermicelli crumbs
- Oil for frying
Method
- 1 Mix the chopped macaroni, grated cheese, cream, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- 2 Roll out puff pastry thin and cut into rounds.
- 3 Place a spoonful of the mixture on each round, fold over, and seal.
- 4 Dip fritters in egg wash, then coat with crushed vermicelli.
- 5 Fry in hot oil until light brown and crispy. Serve hot.
