Fried Jam Stuffed Rice Cakes
Ingredients
- rice mixture
- jam
- egg
- bread crumbs
- hot fat for frying
Method
- 1 Place the hot rice mixture into well-greased tartlet tins.
- 2 Make a small hole in the middle of each and fill with a little jam.
- 3 Cover the jam with more of the rice mixture.
- 4 Allow the cakes to cool completely.
- 5 Dip the cakes in egg, then coat with bread crumbs.
- 6 Fry in hot fat until golden brown.
