Fried Green Corn Cakes
Ingredients
- 1 cup grated corn
- 1 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 2 ounces butter
- 3 tablespoons milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- butter for frying
- parsley for garnish
Method
- 1 Mix grated corn, flour, egg, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- 2 Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- 3 Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the hot butter, forming oblong cakes.
- 4 Fry until brown on both sides.
- 5 Serve on a platter garnished with parsley.
