Fried Fish With Tomato Wine Sauce
Ingredients
- fish fillets
- flour
- salt
- pepper
- 1/4 cup butter
- tomatoes, peeled
- parsley
- 1/4 small onion, chopped
- water
- ground cloves
- wine
- mushroom catsup
Method
- 1 Dredge fish in flour, season with salt and pepper, and fry until golden brown. Remove and let cool completely.
- 2 Melt butter in a pan. Add peeled tomatoes, parsley, and chopped onion; cook until soft.
- 3 Add water to create a sauce. Season with salt, pepper, and ground cloves. Stir in wine and mushroom catsup.
- 4 Add the cooled fish to the sauce and heat thoroughly before serving.
