Fried Cereal Cakes
Ingredients
- 2 cups leftover cooked cereal
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Few drops onion juice
- Flour for dredging
- Ham or bacon fat for frying
Method
- 1 Season the leftover cereal with salt, pepper, and a few drops of onion juice.
- 2 Shape the mixture into small flat cakes using floured hands.
- 3 Dredge the cakes in flour to coat them evenly.
- 4 Fry in ham or bacon fat until golden brown.
- 5 Serve immediately with the meats used for frying.
