Fried Beef And Onion Cakes
Ingredients
- cold cooked beef, chopped very fine
- salt
- cayenne
- minced parsley
- grated onion
- bread crumbs (one-fourth the quantity of beef)
- beaten egg (enough to bind)
- flour (for dredging)
Method
- 1 Chop cold cooked beef very fine and place in a bowl.
- 2 Season with salt, cayenne, minced parsley, and grated onion.
- 3 Add bread crumbs equal to one-fourth the quantity of beef and enough beaten egg to bind the mixture.
- 4 Shape the mixture into balls or small flat cakes.
- 5 Dredge the balls in flour and fry in oil until brown.
