Fried Banana Slices With Fruit Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup sweet milk
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 3 medium bananas
- oil for frying
Method
- 1 Whisk milk, flour, baking powder, and salt until a thick cake-like batter forms.
- 2 Peel bananas and cut each into three pieces, then slice each piece lengthwise.
- 3 Dip banana slices into the batter using a fork.
- 4 Drop battered bananas into hot oil and fry until golden brown.
- 5 Remove fritters and drain on a hot platter without piling them up.
- 6 Serve immediately with a fruit sauce.
