Fresh Mint Sherbet

Ingredients

  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Sugar
  • Water
  • Green food coloring
  • Lemon juice

Method

  1. 1 Strip mint leaves from stalks, chop to a pulp, and rub with sugar.
  2. 2 Add water, bring to a boil, and boil for five minutes.
  3. 3 Let mixture cool, then add green coloring and lemon juice.
  4. 4 Strain the liquid and freeze in an ice cream maker, churning slowly.
