Fresh Fruit Sandwiches
Ingredients
- bread slices
- butter
- sliced strawberries, dusted with powdered sugar
- raspberries
- large blackberries, cut in halves
- peaches, finely chopped
- apple, seasoned with salt, pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice
- sliced bananas with a dash of lemon juice
Method
- 1 Butter the bread slices.
- 2 Choose your filling: strawberries with powdered sugar, raspberries, halved blackberries, chopped peaches, apple with salt/pepper/olive oil/lemon, or bananas with lemon juice.
- 3 Place the chosen fruit filling between the buttered bread layers to form sandwiches.
- 4 Serve immediately or wrap in a damp napkin for up to one hour.
