French Rolls
Ingredients
- 10 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
Method
- 1 In a large bowl, combine flour, eggs, salt, yeast, and warm milk. Stir with a wooden spoon until a thin, light paste forms. Do not knead.
- 2 Place the bowl near a heat source for about 1 hour, or until the mixture rises.
- 3 Shape the dough into small rolls and place on a baking sheet.
- 4 Bake in a 425°F oven until golden brown.
