French Rolled Omelet
Ingredients
- 8 large eggs
- 1 ½ tablespoons fresh butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
- 1 teaspoon chopped onion or shallot (optional)
- 1 teaspoon pounded ham (optional)
Method
- 1 Crack eggs into a bowl with salt, pepper, and water. Beat vigorously until well combined.
- 2 Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Pour in egg mixture.
- 3 Continually stir and turn eggs, keeping the center slightly runny and away from direct heat.
- 4 Once set, gather the edges and roll the omelet into a cylinder before serving immediately.
