Fluffy Strawberry Pancakes
Ingredients
- 6 eggs, separated
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 tsp salt
- Butter for greasing
- Strawberries, crushed and sweetened
- Powdered sugar
Method
- 1 Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Stir in milk and well-beaten egg yolks.
- 2 Beat the batter hard until very light and airy.
- 3 Fold in egg whites beaten to stiff peaks.
- 4 Pour batter onto a well-greased hot griddle and cook until bubbles form.
- 5 Serve pancakes topped with butter, crushed sweetened strawberries, and powdered sugar.
