Flambéed Rum Omelet
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 pinch sugar
- 1 tbsp rum or brandy
Method
- 1 Prepare a French or beaten omelet using eggs and a pinch of sugar. Omit any pepper.
- 2 Place the omelet dish on a larger, heat-resistant dish to protect the table from heat.
- 3 Pour a few spoonfuls of rum or brandy over the cooked omelet just before serving.
- 4 Light the alcohol on fire at the table and serve immediately.
