Five Fold Laminated Pastry Dough
Ingredients
- 3 pints flour
- 2 eggs
- cold water
- butter
Method
- 1 Break two eggs into three pints of flour and mix with cold water to form a dough.
- 2 Roll the dough out into a thick square shape.
- 3 Divide the butter into five equal portions.
- 4 Lay one portion of butter on the dough, sprinkle lightly with flour, then fold and roll out broad again.
- 5 Repeat the process of adding butter, folding, and rolling five times total to complete the pastry.
