Fish Stew With Vegetables And Anchovy
Ingredients
- Any sort of fish
- 1 stick celery, chopped
- 1 sprig parsley
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 anchovy, cleaned, boned, and scaled
- 4 almonds, shredded
- 3 capers
- 2 mushrooms
- 1 oz butter
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp flour
- Hot water
- Tomato sauce (optional)
Method
- 1 Chop celery, carrot, and onion. Pound anchovy, almonds, capers, and mushrooms into a paste.
- 2 Fry the vegetable and anchovy mixture in butter with salt and pepper for a few minutes.
- 3 Add hot water and flour, then boil gently for 10 minutes.
- 4 Add the fish and cook until done. Serve with optional tomato sauce.
