Ingredients

  • cooked and cooled figs, sliced
  • walnuts or blanched almonds, sliced
  • French dressing (claret, lemon juice)
  • cream dressing

Method

  1. 1 Slice the cooked and cooled figs.
  2. 2 Mix the figs with sliced walnuts or blanched almonds.
  3. 3 Serve with either a French dressing made of claret and lemon juice, or a cream dressing.
  4. 4 If using cream dressing, toss ingredients with a small amount and pipe remaining dressing around the salad using a forcing bag.
