Eggs Baked In Toast Shells

Ingredients

  • stale rolls
  • butter
  • fresh eggs
  • minced parsley
  • cream
  • minced fish, meat, or vegetable (optional)
  • seasoning

Method

  1. 1 Cut an even slice off the top of the stale rolls and scoop out the crumb to create shells.
  2. 2 Toast, fry, or rub the shells with butter and bake in a 425°F oven until crisp and brown.
  3. 3 Drop a fresh egg into each shell, adding parsley, cream, or minced fillings if desired.
  4. 4 Bake in a 425°F oven until the eggs are set, replace the tops, and serve immediately.
