Eggs Baked In Toast Shells
Ingredients
- stale rolls
- butter
- fresh eggs
- minced parsley
- cream
- minced fish, meat, or vegetable (optional)
- seasoning
Method
- 1 Cut an even slice off the top of the stale rolls and scoop out the crumb to create shells.
- 2 Toast, fry, or rub the shells with butter and bake in a 425°F oven until crisp and brown.
- 3 Drop a fresh egg into each shell, adding parsley, cream, or minced fillings if desired.
- 4 Bake in a 425°F oven until the eggs are set, replace the tops, and serve immediately.
