Egg Yolk Enriched Shortcrust
Ingredients
- 1 lb flour
- ½ lb fresh butter
- 1 tbsp powdered white sugar
- 2 egg yolks, well beaten
Method
- 1 Combine flour, butter, and sugar in a bowl.
- 2 Knead the mixture using the beaten egg yolks instead of water until a smooth paste forms.
- 3 Roll the paste very thin and use for biscuits or tarts.
