Egg White Toast With Yolk

Ingredients

  • 1 fresh egg
  • 1 square slice of toast
  • pinch of salt
  • paprika for dusting

Method

  1. 1 Separate the egg, keeping the yolk in the shell. Beat the white with a pinch of salt until very stiff.
  2. 2 Pile the egg white in a pyramid on a square slice of toast. Make a well in the center.
  3. 3 Drop the yolk into the well. Dust lightly with paprika.
  4. 4 Bake in a hot oven (425°F) for seven minutes.
