Egg Salad With Beef Extract And Nuts
Ingredients
- 6 hard-boiled eggs, mashed
- 1/2 tsp beef extract
- 1 tbsp hot water
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans or peanuts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lump of butter
- Fresh crackers and thin bread slices for serving
Method
- 1 Mash the hard-boiled eggs very finely in a bowl.
- 2 Dissolve the beef extract in hot water, then add to the eggs along with the butter, salt, and pepper.
- 3 Stir in the mayonnaise and chopped nuts until well combined.
- 4 Serve the mixture between fresh crackers or thin slices of bread.
