Egg Salad Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • Bread slices
  • Butter
  • Salt and pepper
  • Sandwich dressing
  • Lettuce or cress leaves (optional)

Method

  1. 1 Place eggs in warm water and bring to a boil. Simmer gently for 30 minutes.
  2. 2 Transfer eggs to cold water, peel, and slice lengthwise using a fine wire cutter.
  3. 3 Butter bread slices, top with egg slices, and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  4. 4 Spread sandwich dressing over the eggs, add another slice of buttered bread, and press together.
  5. 5 Cut sandwiches into triangles. Add lettuce or cress leaves if desired.
