Egg-Battered Ham And Mustard Sandwiches
Ingredients
- bread slices, cut for sandwiches
- chopped ham
- prepared mustard
- 1 egg
- ½ cup rich milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
Method
- 1 Spread bread slices with chopped ham and a little mustard, then press together in pairs.
- 2 Beat an egg with milk and soak the sandwiches in the mixture for a few moments.
- 3 Heat butter in a pan and brown the sandwiches on both sides.
- 4 Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.
