Duck Stewed With Turnips And Sweet Herbs
Ingredients
- turnips
- butter
- salt
- sugar
- ducks
- flour
- water
- sweet herbs
Method
- 1 Stew turnips with butter, salt, and a little sugar until soft. Remove and drain.
- 2 Season cut-up ducks and place in the same pan. Add butter rolled in flour, water, and tied sweet herbs. Stew until nearly done.
- 3 Return turnips to the pan. Stew slowly together for 10 minutes, skimming well. Remove herbs before serving.
