Dry Skillet Flour Tortillas

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup warm water

Method

  1. 1 In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. 2 Add oil and mix until crumbly.
  3. 3 Add 1/2 cup water, then 1 tablespoon at a time until mixture forms a loose crumbly ball.
  4. 4 Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead 6 to 8 times until smooth.
