Double Boiler Vanilla Chocolate Milk
Ingredients
- ½ pound vanilla sweet chocolate
- 4 cups boiling water
- Pinch of salt
- 4 cups hot milk
- Unsweetened whipped cream for serving
Method
- 1 Place the chocolate, boiling water, and salt in the upper part of a double boiler.
- 2 Stir and beat with a wooden spoon until the chocolate is completely dissolved and smooth.
- 3 Add the hot milk and heat until thoroughly hot.
- 4 Strain the mixture and serve with unsweetened whipped cream.
