Deep Fried Beef And Rice Balls
Ingredients
- cold cooked beef, chopped fine
- 1 slice onion, chopped fine
- salt and pepper to taste
- a little lemon juice
- parsley, chopped
- ¼ amount of boiled rice or bread crumbs relative to meat
- 1 beaten egg
- water, as needed
- oil for deep frying
Method
- 1 Chop fine cold cooked beef and a slice of onion.
- 2 Season with salt, pepper, a little lemon juice, and parsley.
- 3 Add boiled rice or bread crumbs equal to one-quarter the volume of the meat.
- 4 Mix in one beaten egg and sufficient water to form a paste.
- 5 Form the mixture into balls and fry in deep fat until golden.
