Curry Saffron Butter Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 oz butter
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- ½ nutmeg, grated
- ½ tsp saffron
- 2 tbsp flour
- water or broth
Method
- 1 Melt 2 oz butter in a saucepan. Stir in curry powder, grated nutmeg, saffron, and flour.
- 2 Add enough boiling water or broth to cover the mixture. Let it stew for 15 minutes.
- 3 Strain the sauce, stir in a little more butter, and serve immediately.
