Curried Vegetable And Potato Stew
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 pint milk
- 1/2 teaspoon onion juice
- 1 cup cooked peas
- 1/2 cup potato balls
- 1/2 cup turnips, cut into cubes or shapes
- 1/2 cup carrots, cut into straws
Method
- 1 Make a sauce by combining butter, flour, curry powder, salt, and pepper.
- 2 Stir in the milk and onion juice, heating until thickened.
- 3 Add the cooked peas, potato balls, turnips, and carrots to the sauce.
- 4 Heat through and serve immediately.
